For civilian EMC work, an RF amplifier module is one component in a documented measurement chain, not a certified EMC test instrument or a conformity statement. This page explains how to read the distinction without turning a catalogue label into a test-suitability claim.

01 / EMC equipment context
EMI work examines unwanted emissions from equipment under test, while EMS or immunity work examines whether equipment continues to function when exposed to specified electromagnetic disturbances. The two activities use different measurement roles and different evidence. A power amplifier may belong to the signal-generation side of an immunity system; it does not, by itself, measure emissions or establish that a product conforms.
Civilian EMC documentation therefore needs the applicable product and regional standard, the test-system identity, and records showing what was measured. A module frequency or nominal power label is only a component description. It does not prove detector behavior, field uniformity, receiver accuracy, system compatibility, or pass/fail status for any CISPR, IEC, ISO, FCC, or other requirement.
02 / EMC equipment context
Commercial EMC solutions commonly combine receivers or signal analyzers, software, antennas or coupling hardware, and in some immunity systems a broadband amplifier. The system-level result depends on the complete documented chain and the standard applied. New Ark catalogue records are useful starting points for component discussion, but they should not be presented as complete EMC instruments, accredited services, or certification packages.
The catalogue remains preserved as reference context rather than an application-matched shortlist. It includes records labelled across ranges such as 100–1000 MHz, 1–6 GHz, 4–8 GHz and 2–7.2 GHz, with GaN or LDMOS descriptions and various nominal power labels. Those values remain source-record fields; they are not evidence that a model is suitable for a particular immunity level, chamber, EUT, waveform, or standard.
03 / EMC equipment context
An accredited laboratory’s scope identifies the tests and technical activities for which its competence has been assessed. ILAC explains that testing laboratories are accredited by the relevant accreditation body, commonly against ISO/IEC 17025, and that recognition operates through the ILAC MRA network. That is a statement about the conformity-assessment body and its defined scope, not about an RF module supplier or a component datasheet.
When reviewing an EMC report or supplier package, keep the roles visible: the module record describes the hardware offered for review; the laboratory scope describes an accredited service; and the report identifies the standard, equipment chain, configuration and result. New Ark does not use the catalogue page to claim accreditation, certification, test-lab status, or acceptance of a future result.
04 / EMC equipment context
A civilian project review can compare the requested band, interface, mechanical envelope and documented component records, then identify which information still needs written confirmation. It can also separate an emissions measurement role from an immunity signal-generation role and ask whether the proposed component belongs in a complete, traceable system. This is a documentation and feasibility review, not operating guidance or a performance guarantee.
No catalogue record is matched here to an EMC application by frequency or nominal power. Bands not represented by an exact approved record are requested feasibility scope, not supplied modules. Missing fields and conflicts remain visible for confirmation, including the unresolved records for 6, 7, 11, 13, 16, 18, 19, 20 and 22. Final suitability, compliance and acceptance require the responsible equipment integrator and the applicable laboratory or conformity-assessment body to review the written evidence.
SCOPE / NO ASSIGNED MODEL RECORDS
No model shortlist is assigned to this application topic. An application context does not establish that any reference is suitable for the equipment.

PRODUCT TOPIC / COMMON QUESTIONS
No. It is a component that may form part of an immunity signal path. An EMC instrument or system also depends on the relevant receiver or analyzer, software, antennas or coupling hardware, traceability and standard-specific evidence.
No. They are preserved reference fields, not application matches. Frequency and nominal power alone do not establish the required field, accuracy, modulation, compatibility, calibration, or compliance result.
It identifies the tests and technical activities for which the laboratory has been assessed by its accreditation body. It does not convert a component datasheet into a certification or extend the scope of a test beyond what is listed.
This page does not match models to standards, chambers, EUTs or immunity requirements. New Ark can retain the requested band and documentation questions for written feasibility review, while the responsible laboratory determines test acceptance.
