ARCNEW ARK / ARC-PERIMETER · OIL & GAS SAFE-OFFSET REFERENCE

New Ark launches ARC‑PERIMETER
passive acoustic C‑UAS for oil & gas critical infrastructure.

Hong Kong New Ark Intelligent Technology Limited has launched the ARC‑PERIMETER perimeter acoustic-array C‑UAS project reference for refineries, LNG terminals, tank farms, offshore platforms, and chemical parks—organised around safe-offset deployment, passive acoustic awareness, and multi-sensor corroboration.

RELEASE SUMMARY

Place sensing nodes outside core process and tank hazardous areas first.

ARC‑PERIMETER follows a safe-perimeter-first architecture: sensing nodes are preferentially located in external buffer areas beyond core process, tank, and other hazardous zones. The approach is intended to reduce siting risk associated with placing transmitting equipment within high-risk areas. Final boundaries, node positions, coverage conditions, and system interfaces remain subject to site classification, equipment certification, local regulation, and field validation by the project team.

OIL & GAS CONTEXT / 01

Outer-perimeter sensing references for high-risk oil, gas, and energy sites.

These contexts describe deployment discussions only; they do not replace hazardous-area classification, fire-safety review, equipment certification, local licensing, or qualified engineering conclusions.

01

Refinery & tank-farm areas

Safe-offset positions beyond refinery process areas, petroleum-storage depots, strategic oil depots, and tank-farm boundaries.

02

LNG & chemical parks

External corridors and assessed installation points at LNG terminals, liquefaction plants, petrochemical facilities, and chemical parks.

03

Offshore & transmission facilities

Authorised project-assessment scope for offshore oil and gas platforms, pipeline hubs, and associated facilities.

04

Energy coordination areas

Projects adjacent to other energy infrastructure may discuss coordination interfaces after responsibility boundaries are defined.

PASSIVE-TO-VALIDATION CHAIN / 02

From passive acoustic perimeter input to multi-sensor corroboration and human authority.

01 → 04 / PASSIVE TO VALIDATION
01

Passive microphone arrays

Collect rotor-acoustic features as a passive input for outer-perimeter UAV sound-source discovery and location assessment; the acoustic layer does not use electromagnetic transmission as its detection method.

02

Fibre-optic UAV scenario complement

For fibre-guided FPV or other scenarios with limited RF observability, passive acoustics may provide a complementary sensing input; actual identification conditions remain subject to field validation.

03

EO/IR & RF corroboration

Where site authority, field of view, and system design permit, EO/IR and RF information may support event-level cross-confirmation reference.

04

Human authority & project platform

Multi-node events may be assessed under defined data permissions, alert rules, and responsibility boundaries; any controlled-response-related arrangement requires approval by authorised personnel.

DELIVERY OPTIONS / 03

Complete perimeter-system discussions, or acoustic-core PCBA for secondary integration.

New Ark can support delivery and field-validation discussions aligned with a partner's product form, interface plan, engineering cadence, and project responsibility.

01

Integrated perimeter system

Complete-system discussions around array nodes, EO/IR coordination, the project platform, and deployment conditions in external safe buffers.

02

Acoustic-core PCBA

Secondary-integration discussions for system integrators covering acoustic acquisition, algorithm processing, interface definition, and reference design.

03

Site survey & technical demonstration

Oil and gas operators may request site-condition discussions, technical demonstrations, and field validation; final arrangements remain subject to authority review and written project planning.

COMPLIANCE & INDUSTRIAL SAFEGUARDS / 04

Industrial-communications protection, human authority, and regulatory permits are prerequisites for every arrangement.

01The passive acoustic layer does not use electromagnetic transmission as its detection method. Overall electromagnetic compatibility with industrial SCADA, pressure transmitters, and other communications equipment remains subject to project-level assessment.

02Any RF, microwave, laser, or other controlled configuration requires spectrum licensing, electromagnetic-compatibility assessment, local regulatory review, and applicable aviation-safety coordination.

03This public page provides no operating, execution, or control procedure and makes no delivery-performance promise. Any controlled-response-related arrangement requires human approval within an authorised written project scope.
