New Ark introduces ARC-PERIMETER™,
an AI Acoustic Fence for low-altitude security awareness.
Hong Kong New Ark Intelligent Technology Limited introduces the ARC-PERIMETER™ AI Acoustic Fence concept for discussing how distributed acoustic sensing can add an information layer to low-altitude security projects at airports, energy facilities, industrial sites, ports, transportation hubs, and other authorised critical infrastructure.
RELEASE SUMMARY
An Acoustic Fence is a virtual sensing perimeter—not a physical or electric barrier.
ARC-PERIMETER™ uses distributed acoustic nodes to form an assessable virtual sensing boundary. Once site boundaries, background noise, mounting conditions, data responsibility, and written validation requirements are defined, teams may discuss acoustic-event information, location assessment, and platform coordination. The concept does not prevent entry, replace hazardous-area review, or promise any detection, localisation, tracking, or response outcome.

ACOUSTIC FENCE CONCEPT / 01
From a single acoustic node to a distributed acoustic perimeter: structured information input.
An Acoustic Fence describes a monitored area formed by multiple acoustic nodes. Node siting, spacing, communications, power, background noise, and maintenance conditions remain subject to project assessment.
Virtual perimeter
Multiple acoustic nodes establish an assessable monitored area; they do not create a physical barrier.
Passive information input
Nodes may capture acoustic information associated with rotor, propulsion, or ambient conditions for project-level event assessment.
AI analysis reference
Algorithms can support acoustic-feature analysis and classification within a project; thresholds, data quality, and interpretation require validation.
Platform handoff
Relevant event information can be supplied to a security workflow or project platform under defined data permissions and interfaces.
ACOUSTIC TO MULTI-SENSOR / 02
Acoustic sensing is not an isolated device; it is one layer in a multi-sensor low-altitude security architecture.
Acoustic-event input
Use acoustic-related events as a supplementary information source at a perimeter or site boundary.
Location and direction assessment
Where node layout, noise conditions, and models meet project requirements, teams may assess estimated direction or location information.
Multi-source corroboration
EO/IR, RF reception, radar, fibre sensing, or other authorised information sources may support cross-corroboration.
Human governance and records
Alert tiering, escalation, accountability, and any subsequent arrangement remain with authorised personnel under written scope.
APPLICATION CONTEXT / 03
Project-context references for continuous low-altitude awareness discussion.
These contexts indicate where an Acoustic Fence may be discussed. They do not represent site fit, coverage, or system outcomes for every location or condition.
Airports and aviation facilities
An additional acoustic information layer may be discussed under aviation rules, communications protection, site authority, and existing sensing constraints.
Energy and industrial facilities
Oil and gas, LNG, power, chemical, and industrial sites require review of hazardous areas, external buffers, and engineering conditions first.
Ports and transport hubs
Complex boundaries and diverse background noise require confirmation of mounting, interfaces, maintenance, and a validation plan.
Critical infrastructure
The concept may be part of continuous low-altitude situational-awareness discussion, connected to existing security workflows, accountable roles, and records.
TERMINOLOGY / 04
A shared vocabulary for ARC-PERIMETER™, Acoustic Fence, and related technical terms.
Terms clarify the concept and technical context; they do not replace project scope, delivery definition, or validation findings.
ARC-PERIMETER™
New Ark’s product concept and brand expression for intelligent acoustic perimeter sensing.
Acoustic Fence
A virtual monitored perimeter created through distributed acoustic sensing—not a physical fence or electric barrier.
Acoustic Electronic Fence
A related search or industry term for an electronically monitored perimeter based on acoustic detection technology.
Acoustic UAV Detection
A technical description for using acoustic capture and analysis to provide project-level information about UAV-related sound sources.
COMPLIANCE & PROJECT BOUNDARY / 05
Discussion of detection, location assessment, tracking, and integration is bounded by site conditions, human authority, and written validation.
01An Acoustic Fence does not replace site-safety review, hazardous-area classification, equipment certification, engineering approval, or an operator’s safety process.
02Acoustic information is affected by background noise, weather, terrain, buildings, node layout, interfaces, and target characteristics. Site fit and project outcomes require field validation.
03Any arrangement involving governed equipment, spectrum use, aviation-safety interfaces, or subsequent response must meet applicable permission, site authority, accountable human roles, and written project scope.
