COMPANY NEWS / RELEASE 02
New Ark introduces an acoustic-sensing solution for
fibre-optic UAV scenarios.
The solution combines passive acoustic inputs, array-based nodes, and multi-sensor interfaces for projects that need low-altitude target assessment from safe perimeters and controlled installation conditions. New Ark also supports PCBA module delivery and integration work so partners can advance prototypes, system integration, and project validation in their own product form factors.
RELEASE SUMMARY
Bringing acoustic sensing and fibre-optic UAV scenarios into an integration-ready engineering path.
In some low-altitude scenarios, control-link characteristics may not provide the only useful assessment input. The solution uses acoustic signatures, array acquisition, and edge processing as a passive sensing foundation, with information coordination to EO/IR, RF, and existing command platforms considered where designed and authorised. It is presented as a project-level sensing and integration reference, not a replacement for site regulation, airspace, safety, or hazardous-area review.

SYSTEM PATH / 01
From passive acoustic input at the external perimeter to system-level coordination.
Array-based passive acquisition
Microphone-array nodes collect environmental acoustic inputs at assessed external safe positions to support event discovery and initial location assessment.
Edge acoustic processing
Acoustic feature processing, target-classification assistance, and event labels shape an edge-side data flow while retaining project-specific parameters and interface definitions.
Multi-sensor coordination
Where site conditions, system design, and permissions allow, acoustic events can be associated with EO/IR, RF, or existing platform confirmation processes.
Traceable project validation
Site authorisation, interface responsibility, a validation plan, and written confirmation structure project delivery and define follow-on coordination.
PCBA DELIVERY / 02
PCBA module delivery and branded system integration for partners.
New Ark can support modular delivery discussions around a partner's product enclosure, interface plan, production cadence, and project responsibility. The final delivery scope remains subject to technical discussion, interface definition, validation planning, and written project documentation.
Module & algorithm reference
Acoustic-acquisition and processing PCBA, embedded algorithms, reference designs, and technical materials for product-integration discussion and prototype assessment.
Interface & coordination definition
Traceable system boundaries and integration responsibilities across power, communications, software platforms, EO/IR, and other project interfaces.
Prototype & validation support
Partner discussions across prototype stages, environmental fit, field validation, and delivery cadence according to the project plan.
DEPLOYMENT BOUNDARY / 03
Safe installation, project authority, and written validation remain delivery prerequisites.
01Sensing nodes and interface equipment should be assessed against hazardous-area conditions, external safety buffers, maintenance access, and local requirements.
02Where EO/IR, RF, or other coordinated inputs are considered, system interfaces, data permissions, and operational responsibility should be defined in project documentation.
03Performance, coverage, environmental fit, and final equipment selection remain subject to field conditions and project validation.
NEWS FAQ / 01
