INFORMATION & PROJECT-GOVERNANCE CONTEXT / CONCEPTUAL SCENE

Put technology questions back into an authorised, reviewable, and verifiable project context.

This conceptual scene helps explain conditional information, protected services, human review, and written validation. It is not a deployment or field-outcome claim.

INFORMATION CONTEXT / 01

1. Start with the decision context

TECHNICAL GUIDE · TECHNICAL GUIDE

Define what lawful decision the project supports, what change is relevant, and what information may be collected. RF reception can indicate that the surrounding RF environment has changed, but it does not by itself establish what caused the change or what action is appropriate. Site fit depends on lawful authority, protected services, safety offsets, accountable human review, and written validation.

CONDITIONS & UNCERTAINTY / 02

2. Build complementary evidence

TECHNICAL GUIDE · TECHNICAL GUIDE

Treat RF observations as one conditional input in a broader evidence picture. Depending on authorisation and site conditions, passive acoustic or microphone-array information, radar, EO/IR, and fibre-optic links may add different context. C2 data may also be considered only as an authorised information input; no single source should be treated as universal detection, identification, range, coverage, or reliability.

CORROBORATION / 03

3. Keep human review accountable

TECHNICAL GUIDE · TECHNICAL GUIDE

Document who reviews an observed change, what uncertainty remains, and which protected services or safety constraints must be respected. Human reviewers should compare corroborating inputs, record disagreements, and avoid turning an automated indication into an operational conclusion without authorised judgment.

GOVERNANCE & VALIDATION / 04

4. Validate in writing before adoption

TECHNICAL GUIDE · TECHNICAL GUIDE

Use a written validation record to state assumptions, lawful scope, data-handling limits, known gaps, review responsibilities, and the conditions under which the project must be revisited. Validation should be site-specific and evidence-based, with no performance guarantee implied beyond what the authorised review can support.

TECHNICAL & COMPLIANCE BOUNDARY / 05

This guide is an educational project reference—not an operating, deployment, integration, or performance instruction.

01Availability and interpretation of acoustic, RF, radar, EO/IR, visual, and other information depend on site conditions, environment, data quality, protected services, permissions, privacy, and accountable review. This page does not promise detection, identification, classification, location assessment, tracking, availability, safety, non-interference, or risk outcomes.

02Any equipment, interface, data handling, industrial-system connection, spectrum-related arrangement, aviation coordination, or later project decision requires appropriate authority, engineering review, qualified personnel, and written scope.

03The public guide does not provide target selection, sensor positioning, thresholds, algorithms, execution sequences, signal control, interference, navigation manipulation, or response methods.
